Samsung Galaxy S Captivate Android Smartphone Matrix 3D Live Wallpaper
The smartphone market today is one of the most competitive markets that’s ever existed, much to the delight of consumers. From being a status symbol, the smartphone has become a very accessible gadget for many users, who are slowly realizing that the future has indeed, arrived.
So if you want to be part of the future and use great mobile apps on your device, you should get a smartphone now. But which one? Here’s a list of phones you might want to consider, from the really pricey and very snazzy to the entry level gems that you didn’t know you could get at such a great price:
1. Samsung
This brand is all about Android devices, and its phones range from the cheap entry level stuff to the most advanced and beautiful Android smartphones ever made. You can get cheap phones like the Galaxy Y that runs the latest Android OS for phones and get to use great apps on a phone that doesn’t break the bank. If you want something that’s beautiful, functional and has high specs, get the Galaxy S series is Samsung’s answer to the iPhone. The two phones have been in such competition that they are the best smartphones you can get. Another great phone from this brand is the Galaxy Note that distinguishes itself as both a phone and a tablet with its super fast processor and great display for taking notes and sketching.
2. BlackBerry
This company is actually the first to introduce apps as part of the mobile phone experience. Email access and sync is a great thing that BlackBerrys still maintain, but they’re struggling to keep up with the new OS on the block from Google and Apple. Still, these phones can let you send mail, create and edit office documents and host of other functions along with being an actual phone. The brand also has its own service for social media and messaging apps, which means you can access your online media, messaging and file accounts without the need for an internet connection. The selection of apps is much more limited, though since you don’t have things like Instagram, RingCentral, AwesomeNote or games that are quite common in Android and iOS.
3. HTC
Another brand that rode the Android bandwagon because the OS is open source, it’s not doing as well as Samsung. Still, its phones are good and can compete well with Samsung phones. It also has entry level phones that are still Android phones but have smaller screens.
4. Apple
The iPhone is sort of a snob as a smartphone since it has its own operating system that boasts the biggest App Store in the whole market. It’s a beautiful phone packed with native apps and free messaging services for fellow Apple users. It’s the easiest to use since the controls are so intuitive but not that customizable or as flexible as an Android device that lets you use widgets.
